Wireless Net help

I bought a Linksys wireless G router the other day and a wireless G card to go along with it so I could set up a wireless net in my house. The cable modem is across the house from my comp and laptop so I was hoping to get this going good. I installed the router and have my parent's comp hard wired into it since it sits ontop of their desk. I put the wireless card into my comp and installed the driver. It worked fine for one day. I am on my laptop right now and it is using the wireless net fine though it gets Low signal strength. My main comp with the card was registering Good to Excellent signal strength all day till i turned it off at night and it would not work on wireless on reboot. Now when i try to "repair" the connection it says it could not renew the ip address and shows good signal strength but under status has "Limited or no conectivity". I have TCP/IP set up to obtain IP and DNS auto just like the booklet says. Can someone please give me some help with this????
