D-Link drivers not being recognized after restart
I just bought a D-Link G510 wireless pci card so that I can use the internet through a link-sys broadcast box(dont know what to call it) The drivers and hardware were installed fine and worked perfectly. However after either restarting the computer or logging off or shutting down the computer, the pci card automatically lost the signal and cant recognize the network. The only way I can get the card to recognize the network is to reinstall the drivers.
BTW im running on Windows XP professional, with no SP1 or SP2, even though I got a few critical updates. I called tech support and they suggested turning the Zero Configuration option to disabled on start up.(this also dosent stay disabled after I restart it, which is bringing me to the conclusion that no settings get saved after a shutdown.) What could be wrong? |

Maybe you should use a Linksys pci card instead.. It might work better. Your crossing 2 brands of routers.
