Making better connection with 360?

I'm wondering if this is possibly,i play halo3 allot on my 360 so i am trying to make a better connection with it,cause my family uses the computer allot when I'm playing on the 360 so i get allot of lag on me.Is there a way that i can fix that when they are on it or i have to deal with it?

Please supply the following info, exact make and models of the equipment please.

Make/model of the broadband modem.
Make/model of the router (if any).
Connection type, wired, wireless.
If wireless, encryption used, (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.)
Make/model of network card or wireless adapter.
Make/model of your computer (motherboard if home-built).
Version and patch level of Windows on all affected machines, i.e. XP-Home (or XP-Pro), SP2, Vista, etc.

Have you looked into configuring QoS in the router? That may help with the issue.

Look in the router's web based setup. I don't know what, if any, provision there is. It's possible you'll need a better router to solve the issue. What are they doing to cause issues, and how fast is your ISP connection?

Well sometimes they go on myspace etc an other programs that are up like aim,msn,yahoo, messengers.[speed:100.0 Mbps if thats what you mean?]

can i make it like,not to be intercepting with my computer somehow?

Actually, your ISP connection is a LOT slower than 100mbit, that's just the speed of your local network.
