modems and routers
I just found out that are modem is pretty old (our ISP gave it to us in 2002)
I even hooked my xbox directly to the modem and was continually disconnected from xbox live yet the internet on both comps run fine. So I have decided I am getting a new modem, and a new router just to be on the safe side. Anyways, I was wondering, which is better, a modem/router combo (ie, one device that is both a modem and router), or get a seperate modem and router? Devices that would be using these are: 2 comps, 1 xbox 360, and 1 nintendo wii. and one of the comp would be directly connected to the router |

Re: modems and routers
I like the separate boxes, because it makes debugging easier when you have issues.
