Broadband High Ping Problem

I used to have very bad connection problems with my talktalk broadband (im an online gamer) the connectio used to randomely go off, that problem has been fixed (we had to put a new phone socket in upstairs connected to the master 1 downstairs), ive had no problems, im even connected at a fastr speed now HOWEVER , for some reasoi my ping for games is now around 5x bigger than it shud b, gone from 60 to 300 or more. the download speed will randomely frop from 320kbs to around 12kbs until about 11.30 at night when my ping goes bk to normal as with the download speed, its a 3.2mb connection.

any help woudl be grateful

Well, those results look fine. I'd try it when you're having the ping issues, and lets see if something changes.
