Theoretical Question

Ok this is a question in theory.

Is it possible to have two computers with two DSL modems connected to the one internet connection at the same time without networking?

just examining my options.

Nope. A single phone line can only support one DSL connection, it uses all the available bandwidth. This is not like cable modems that actually would work that way, assuming that you had two cable ISP accounts.
