modem problems
My Info:
isp; comcast modem; rca-dcm315 router; linksys WRT54G. wireless. WEP intel pro/wireless 2200bg dell inspiron 6000 xp-home basically what happened was, comcast guy hooked me up at the tap and then asked if i also had cable tv, and i said no, so he said well i didnt block it so all you have to do is run a cable and you can get basic cable. the internet was working, but when i connected the cable... the internet stopped working. no matter how many times i reset the modem, the internet light keeps blinking. the cable tv still works. my temper is flaring. ive thought of everything i can and its still not working. im hesitating to call comcast, because i dont want them to send out another guy just in case he realizes im not supposed to have a tv hookup. could anybody help? |

Re: modem problems
We can't help, please read the Tech Support Forum Rules & Conduct. That's called theft of service, and it's against the rules here.
