First I will start by apologizing to anyone who may find this Post insulting to them and all I have to say about that is, it's not intentional.

I can help from noticing that almost every Post for help with connection problems have very little information to go by. So it should be understood that before you click Submit, please supply the following regardless of what the situation is:

Your OS (Operating System) i.s. WinXP, Windows Vista, 98se, 2000 Mac10, 08 etc.

Name of the Cable /DSL Modem you are using
Whether you have Cable or DSL service
Whether you have a Laptop or a Desktop computer
How many computers you have in your system
Do you require a User ID & Password to connect i.e. [PPPOE]
Did you ever have a good connection and something changed

I tried to find the EDIT feature on this Post but couldn't . maybe someone can tell me what's up with that.

Anyway, if you have a Dell Laptop and are having connection problems, pleae make sure you mention that in your first Post.

Thanks. I've tried stickies in the past, but people simply do not read them. I wish there were a solution to the issue, but I'm not sure one exists.

I've thought that maybe when you start to post, a pop-up comes up and suggests information that relates to the specific forum you're posting into. This could only happen for new users.
