Fax thru Satellite

Hi Guys.

I am relatively new to satellite internet connex. I have a work supplied satellite connex using DirecPC coneections (seperate blue ventilated boxes with "blue, grey brown for Tx with Blue grey, grey for Rx). Our phone system is thru PABX so cannot get direct dial. Modem works fine for all connex to internet (Bigpond Direcway). Is ther any way I can set up an internet fax system with the above? My ISP is iinet (no Voip). Skype is enabled. Your views, comments, suggestions are most welcome.

Hi Keith, Welcome to TSF!

Windows® XP has a 'built-in' fax machine; perhaps this might work for you.

Give it a try and post back with the results.

Tried to load Fax thru add/remove programs. Do not have CD as XP pre-installed and only recovery disk provided. No go! Any other Ideas? Please!

Unfortunately Keith without the CD there's not much hope.

Do not panic, as some of the guys/girls from the Networking Team will surely look at this and offer a suggestion for an alternative solution.
