No problems, It works through the router onto this pc through ethernet but not on another pc through ethernet. dont know why. i have disabled firewalls and allowed them. When i log onto the router settings i have not idea what to put where really e.g. PPPoE or what and username and password. Re: Urgent HELP only 2 days to sort it out
The user name and password comes from the ISP, obviously we don't know what that is.
If you have one machine working on the router, obviously those things are entered correctly, right? You need to slow down, take a deep breath, and state the problem clearly. What configuration do you have, how is it wired, what works, what doesn't, etc.

Re: Urgent HELP only 2 days to sort it out
Sorry John,
With the modem its connected to the router via crossover cable and okay and from the router another crossover cable to the pc. All works AOL no problem, I still have to startup aol to start the internet connection. The other pc is connected via ethernet cable and that doesnt work its shows on the router a cable is in and being used but on the computer there is no internet, Is shows recived and sent packages on the computer and is connected but no internet. I dont think wireless works either. Im not to sure what i have to change on the router settings. So i need to know what to put in on the router settings and get the ethernet pc working and wireless. I have screen shots of every page on the router if it helps? Router.zip Last edited by Jaymie1989; 07-16-2007 at 03:57 PM. |

I like problems that solve themselves.
