Belkin Wireless router modem failing to connect

Hi,
Hope you guys can help me here.

Ive been trying to set my Uncles new wireless router/modem up. I entered all the internet details in correctly (tiscali internet) and clicked OK to confirm the settings I had entered. Then, the router saved the settings and redirected back to the router homepage. I noticed that the ADSL status was connecting, and the ADSL light on the router blinked 4 times. After this, it then stopped, I refreshed the page and it said it was disconnected. Tried reconnecting, same problem. I tried with several different connection types (PPPoA and PPPoE) both failed to work. I tried entering the IP address of the line, still didnt connect.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Chris

Re: Belkin Wireless router modem failing to connect

I don't know anything about Tiscali, but obviously, only one configuration is going to be correct. What do they say you need to configure the modem/router?

Please supply the following info, exact models of the equipment please.

Make/model of the broadband modem.
Make/model of the router (if any).
Connection type, wired, wireless.
Make/model of network card or wireless adapter.
Make/model of your computer (motherboard if home-built).
Version and patch level of Windows, i.e. XP-Home SP2.
