Thumbs Up Rangemax Next Wireless-n Adsl2+ Modem Router

HELP ! I am trieing to set up RANGEMAX NEXT WIRELESS -N,ADSL MODEM ROUTER

I manage to set it first all working fine till I switched the computer off and went to bed thinking yes i did it ;

The next morning I trie to get on Internet,You now what it will not connect to the Internet,THEN I could not get to this site because I disconnected my old MODEM Thomson/speedtouch,which then wouldn't set connection up

FINELY: I did get Thomson speedtouch connected and here I am !This Rangemax is doing my head in? ANY HELP WILL BE GREATFULL

Dude did you plug in your user name and password from your isp into the router. ?

or does your service use a mac address possibly the mac address of your pc
Hmmm possibly the mac address of your old modem, no then you would not connect at all.

is there a setting that says keep alive, or anything close to that , that refers to the connection ?

All I get is ,power light comes and modem routers port light comes on,

Other lights like wireless and Internet lights are not lighting up ?not sure because I cannot Acctivate this modem

dontkno Help I can't get Internet, If I Disconnect Present Active Thomson SpeedTouch Modem,Which I use to connect to Internet,

I am Trieing to instal New NETGEAR RANGEMAX NEXT WIRELESS -N ADSL+2 MODEM ROUTER,

I have one telephone line,If I disconnect modem cable from my present internet connnection to use with rangemax ,Then the I lose connecton altogather and can not connect the rangemax to internet which then stop me getting the ip address from internet explorer;http:// 192.168.0.1

power light on,, internet light on,, wireless light on,, port light on,,


ANY HELP WIL DO, OR JOSEP WOULD SAY ANY DREAM WILL DO

What's the make/model of the existing modem? Do you have a name/password associated with your DSL account? Did you configure the new router with the correct protocol and name/password in the WAN configuration section?

The exsisting modem is talktalks, speedtouch user name/password correct

I have tried using the set smartwizard, it keep coming up with NO CABLE OR ROUTER DETECTED,

yet all connection are correct{ except wireless light does not come, which i think need to switched on,but how ?
