Connection keeps timing out

Hi, I have a really frustrating problem tonight, I keep getting problem loading page and server not found messages, if I do a repair on the connection it seems to fix it for a minute or so but I keep having to do this over and over.

Any one have an idea?

Thanks

Re: Connection keeps timing out

I'm wireless on broadband.

No idea of network card, must have a built in wireless adaptor.

Turion 64, Medion 96400.

Yes to home SP2, have updated the patches.

If I can get a connection, will give you more info.

Re: Connection keeps timing out

Do you think this may be an isp problem?
I changed from one to the other recently but still have the broadband box (router?) from the old isp installed. Maybe this is the problem?
It seems to be ok, so far today, but mostly this problem occurs at night?

Re: Connection keeps timing out

What's the make and model of the modem and router? Are they any other computers connected to this connection? Have you tried a wired connection to see if this is wireless interference or some issue with networking?

Re: Connection keeps timing out

If this only occurs at night, have you tried running a wire to the router to see if it's local interference or the ISP? Many times an ISP gets overloaded in the evening hours and that's when trouble starts.
