Re: ping
Register at DSLReports and run their line quality tests. Post a link to the results here.

Re: ping
Did you miss this part? I don't want to see bits and pieces, I want to look at the report.

Re: ping
It looks pretty clean to me, I see no issues with the connection, at least at the time you did the line quality test. Try this:
Start, Run, CMD PATHPING <game server URL> Where <game server URL> is the server you're trying to use. When the run is finished (it'll take about 10 minutes), right click in the command window and "select all" and hit Enter. Paste the results into a message here.

Use the server's IP address.

Re: ping
Use 75.126.86.241, don't add the port number.

Re: ping
hmm, ok, every once in a while, i get a real bad lag spike, from like high 90's, to like 1200ms!! pretty nuts, but then it drops after a couple seconds
is it maybe the server where DSL's got me hooked up to?

Re: ping
I'd have to say, either your ISP has a spike, or something running on your machine is causing the issue.

Re: ping
If it's your computer, it would probably be a running service or application, or possibly malware/spyware.
