site not opening

i have a website www.fusionmantra.com and the mailserver is mail.fusionmantra.com hosted with ixwebhosting...

it was working fine and now since 3 days the site is not opening on my pc neither i can access the mailserver nor the FTP. my friend with the same ISP provider was facing same problem. Now today i was trying to open the www.fusionmantra.com and the yahoo search result came up and then i clicked the first result which was my site and the sie opened. This was really strange to me as the mail server was not opening still. I have 3 more sites hosted on the same server and i tried opening them and it was still not opening... then when i searched it on yahoo and clicked the result it opened.

Now can someone tell me what can be the problem. The site is working fine as my clients in US are able to see it and even the service provider confirmed me this.

Can some tell me how to solve this. Even if i have to change the domain registerer and server provider i can do that.

and one important thing... when the site was not opening i tried to open the IP of my site and it was working fine means when i put the IP on the browser it opens the site.

Re: site not opening

If it's common to a single ISP, I'd suspect they have either routing or DNS issues within their network. I can get to the fine, FWIW.

I had this exact kind of issue with Comcast a couple of years ago, it took me about three weeks to convince them that they really did have a problem, and they finally fixed it.

Re: site not opening

Nope, if they have a DNS issue in their network, they'll have to fix it before you can resolve the address. The fact that the IP address works and the URL doesn't, screams DNS resolution problems.

Let's see the following:

Start, Run, CMD

TRACERT www.fusionmantra.com
