Hi i've recently switched to a usb adaptor for my internet however i can not get it running i have installed it correctly and it seems to be working correctly yet i am unable to form a connection. a pop-up constantly comes up stating that the network cable is unplugged? when it diffently is not. while the computer is at idle it is like it forms a conection for a split second then loses it as the network connections window flickers randomly with the repiar function etc. when i try running the ipconfig in the command prop it says the media is disconected??? can anyone please shed some light on this for me i'm about ready to throw the dam thing agianst the wall

Re: Usb ethernet adaptor help
Well, if you told us the make/model of the router, the USB adapter, the version and patch level of Windows, that would be a start. Is this wired or wireless?
If this is wireless, and you're using the adapter's client software to manage it, you have to disable WZC in services or they will conflict.
