Wireless Router recommendation

I'm looking for a straightforward inexpensive router with built-in modem, at least 100m range and good reliability, recommendations please? What brands should I look for or avoid?

Re: Wireless Router recommendation

I reluctiant to prefer one over another in a public forum, I will say this though.

I use Cable and Wireless which I found easy to set up and reliable enough.

Re: Wireless Router recommendation

Well, you need to specify if you're running on DSL or cable. :) Personally, I still recommend separate units, makes it easier to diagnose network issues when they come up.

Re: Wireless Router recommendation

Seperate units would be my vote.

Re: Wireless Router recommendation

I support separate units as well.. Linksys or Dlink products would be my choice. You better compare the products and get the one with the features you need.

Re: Wireless Router recommendation

I've used D-Link (my favorite) and LinkSys.
But now I use the BUFFALO WHR-HP-G54 IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless-G MIMO Broadband Router and Access Point

I'm never going back to anything else.

Re: Wireless Router recommendation

I concur with the above on the separate units. I have a separate AP, Netgear WG302, which I like because of PoE.
