Hi,
I am new at this so forgive me if I ramble on a bit?I have Orange Livebox up and running, using the internet just fine, but more than puzzled by recent changes that have occurred and hope someone might be able to com up with an explanation?Almost two weeks ago, whenever I logged on I would get down on the bottom right hand corner of my screen TWO little computers flashing plus yet another two little flashing computers. When I hover the mouse over one of them I get,Local Area Connection,100.0Mbps Status connected. The other one shows Internet connection speed 2.2 mbps Status connected. Now two weeks back I get a message from Orange saying they are going to improve my speed for free and at this point My Internet connection was at 5.3 mb,but since therir letter,I am now down to 2.2 mb??? Cannot get much sense out of sending E-Mails to Orange, usually advised to phone which I did try but frankly, and with the greatest respect I have to say that I could not understand the person on the othe end of the line, perhaps my old age has something to do with it? Can someone please tell me why I am now on 2.2 but previously on 5.3?I use unlimited broadband. Regards, langtry |
