2wire fluxuating connection
So around a week ago my internet started spiking randomly. For example, every 50 seconds i am connected for 15 seconds i will get little or no connectivity.
Its driving me absolutely insane. Any help would be appreciated and any other information to help diagnose the problem just let me know. Thanks in advance. |

Re: 2wire fluxuating connection
What is the model number of the 2wire? Who is you service provider?
If the model numer is a 2700hg and your service provider is at&t you should be able to get it replaced with a 2701hg. There was a problem with the 2700hg. Call the DSL service center and ask them. How old is the 2wire? |

Re: 2wire fluxuating connection
You might start by resetting the router and reconfiguring, see if that helps. Next, install the latest firmware for the router. If that fails, it may simply be dying, it does happen.

Re: 2wire fluxuating connection
The firmware is already to the most current, and as for the resetting and reconfiguring, i have been doing that for a week now with no real success, had called them earlier and bumped my connection to that of 2x normal for free and had a great connection all day till around 7:30 this evening then the problem started again.. who knows the router or the line maybe the problem, any other ideas before i confront them again?
