Zoom X5 modem - need to increase Maximum IP Session
I just got a new modem/router. It's the Zoom X5 5654.
http://www.zoom.com/graphics/datashe...624_X5_2_2.pdf I've installed the latest firmware. Furthermore, I'm sure that I setup the modem correctly. My ISP is Verizon. The problem is whenever my brother or I use P2P applications, the webpages fail to load up. It's obvious that this is being caused by the P2P applications taking up practically all of the IP sessions. Currently, we have 192 IP connections available. We want to increase that to 500-600. I saw other threads that addressed the same problem, but their solutions didn't work for me. I already tried going to telnet and typing in: modify nbsize maxipsess 512. However, all I got was an error message that said: Error: Invalid paramater value specified maxipsess . It did work when I entered numbers below 192, but when I entered numbers above 192, I just got that error message. So, like I said, I need to know how to increase the Maximum IP Sessions, please. Thanks Tosh |

Re: Zoom X5 modem - need to increase Maximum IP Session
If you had checked the Tech Support Forum Rules & Conduct, you'd have noticed we provide no support for P2P applications here. I'm closing this thread.
