SMC Router????????
Hi Guys
Maybe someone can help me with my router. I'm trying to setup a LAN with a Router on a Wireless Internet Connection. I've got two D-link Wireless access Points connecting two building together. In the one building there is no problem connecting from any one of the five XP Computers to the Internet. The other building cannot even ping the router. I can ping all the computers in the other building where the router is, so there is nothing wrong with the LAN. If I bring my laptop over to building no2 where non of the computers can connect, and I take a Network cable out from one of the computers, then I've got no problem. I can connect with my laptop from both buildings. I check all the settings on the computers in building no2 so that it is the same as my laptop, but still nothing. Please help TX |

Re: SMC Router????????
Do this with the laptop connected on that network, and again for one of the failing computers.
Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt: Type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here.
