Hello,
I have been an electronics technician and computer tech. for 23 yrs and only now I have just signed up for and installed Verizon DSL. I love it and use it for personal and business use at home.I however am having problems using my dial up PcAnyWhere connections to various servers. I am able to use my business dialup ISP and connect to dialup RAS servers but for some reason I cannot connect to several dialup PcAnyWhere Hosts. I at this moment in time cannot seem to resolve this issue. I have not gotten to the point yet to test another pc on the line but just joined this forum to see if this is a known issue with DSL perhaps interfering with my PcAnyWhere dialup connections. It's strange how I can connect to my dialup ISP obviously over the modem and also several RAS servers but not my Pc Any connections. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. ![]() |

When ordering a dsl connection I wonder if some sort of frequency is added to the line therefore causing some sort of interference w/my modem. May need to go back to the basics of dsl theory. |
