HELP!! linksys

i have 2 computers hard wired to a linksys router. only one establishes a connection. i have tried the basics, switch wires, try differant ports,bypass router, disabled the wireless connection. i can not seem to get this thing to want to communicate with the other. all im looking to do is acess the internet and share a printer . any help would be great.!!

Are you sure you connected the broadband modem to the WAN/Internet connection, and not to one of the LAN ports?
