Adsl2?

Can someone please tell me what ADSL2 is and also is it better to use a USB modem or an ethernet 10/100 connection?

ADSL2 is the format of the faster connections these days, TBH my understanding of it is very limited, I just know that if you have a fast connection you will need one of these to use it with, as to your other query Ethernet is the best\fastest connection without question and is definitely the way to go.

ADSL2 Description

The connection type is a no-brainer, Ethernet anytime you can use it for networking.
