problem with LAN connection and use of Clean Access Agent program

I am connected to a University Lan connection that requires the use of Clean Access Agent program to ensure the safety of the connection. However last night when I started up my computer the connection would not establish. I at first thought that it was the server down but the other computers of my roomate and hall mates were were connecting fine. then I checked my router to see if the connection was established and the lights were on showing a connection. But for some reason the connection will not establish. The clean access agent program says that i am logged in but I didnt log in and when I try to open it nothing happens. I open an internet explorer window and it jus comes up with no connection. So then I opened my device driver and checked to ensure that the port for my LAN was enabled but when I checked the ports, there was no listing for a LAN connection. The only port listed was for my printer. So now I dont know what to do because my computer will not connect to the connection and Im afraid that the port to my LAN is somehow gone.

Does anyone know of anything that might be causing this or have had a familiar problem? Also when I startup the computer at the intial desktop launch a message comes up stating:
Error loading 0cw803ec.dll
The specified module could not be found

I didnt know if that had anything to do with it or not. I dont really know what that means so any help on that would be appreciated too. Thanks in advance for any help that is given.

I'd contact the University IT department, they should be able to sort it out.
