DSL disconnection after long connection time

Hi,
my problem is that my DSL conenction ,using speedtouch 330, is working perfect for long time(about 24Hrs) . After that it begins to disconnect repeatedly and sometimes show the message :error 603 : port is already open.
i need to shutdown my PC for sometime (1 hour) before i can connect again with no disconnections!
i think it may be the splitter quality that can affect all of that.

any help?
i have windows XP and USB 1.1 and PSU 250Watt.

I'd start by doing virus and spyware scans.

I am sure it's not a virus

hi,
i also considered that point too.
i have NAV2004 and Dr.web with lastest update. Plus a firewall (sygate) with lastest signatures.
i am almost convinced that it's a hardware problem, but i can't think about a bottleneck.
Can operational heah affect the splitter? or the ADSL modem itself?
when i sense it with my hand, i find it warm.

waiting for suggestions.

somebody help me here!
the disconnections are repeated at some period and the problem cannot be gone untill i shutdown my PC for a hour or something!
is it something with my PC? maybe over temperature?
the strange thing is that i can have a perfect connection for about 17hours in somedays.
btw i heard that cordless phones can make some troubles, is that true?

i have cooled the modem and the PC with extra fans and changed the wires and the splitter to eliminate these possibilities.
any suggestions?
