Dial-up connection + Always running connection problem
I have a constaant connection to the internet as my default connection. For back-up reasons, i have a dial-up conneciton. My trouble is that when I am browsing the internet with my constant connection, I keep getting a popup requesting my username and information for my dial-up conection to connect me to it. I want this popup to quit popping up. Also, when I click cancel on when this popup comes, I get the page cannot be displayed error, which has been frustrating me. PLease help, any is appreciated. Thank you.

If you are using IE, go Tools, Internet Options, Connections and change your dial up properties to never dial a connection.
I assume you have an instability in your network connection that is causing the dial prompt to keep popping up? JamesO |
