My first thoughts on this are that wireless routers and cordless phones. Are known to interfere with each other. Try changing the radio channel on the wirless router. Also some makes of cordless phone will allow you to change the radio channel try that.

Purchase a DSL splitter and install it at the telco service entrance. Run a direct line from the DSL port on the splitter directly to the DSL modem. Connect all of the other phone instruments to the telephone output of the DSL splitter.
This is as good as it gets for DSL installations, and will usually solve in-house wiring issues.

What is the frequency of the cordless phones. My experience is that anything in the 2 Ghz range plays hell with the DSL. And with a 16MB service, the fewer interruptors the better. Splitting the service at the Network Interface is the best solution.
