No internet--Possible Router Prob???
I have had cable internet for about a year and a Linksys wrt54g 802.11g wireless modem for about 6 months and have had no problems until Friday. Thursday night was the last night I have had access to the internet. I have re-booted the router, modem and pc. If I connect straight from the modem to the pc, I can get internet access. I have another wireless router and a 4 port regular cable router that I installed as well. All with a reboot and reset. Still no internet access. If I plug the cable from my modem into my laptop, still no internet. Only when it’s plugged from the modem into my desktop pc does it work. No changes to anything prior to Friday with me or my ISP. I have no idea!! Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Well, if the desktop works on directly on the modem, you MUST power cycle the modem before any other device will work, did you do that? I'm not sure what "rebooting" the modem implies.
![]() Have you reset one of the routers to factory defaults? That configuration should connect to the cable modem and allow wired computers with no reconfiguration.
