westell modem/netopia 3-d

have westell modem and netopia 3-d wireless set-up .HP pc xp windows HP laserjet3050 . modem dsl should it send faxes. the netopia is connected to computor and modem to wall jack in other room pc works fine fax will work on regular phone line but not through the computor.can it be configured in computor differently

DSL may use regular phone lines but it uses different signaling than a phone or fax.
