Low Wireless Signal

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows why my wireless modem is not picking up a strong signal, even tho I am right next to the router. My wifes laptop is picking up the signal fine, but for some reason, mine isnt. It was working fine one day, and the next, no good. The worst thing is, my computer is 2 days out of warranty. Very frustrating. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Try updating the drivers. I kept getting slower speeds, untill I updated the drivers.
