Lan connection fine, cant connect to adsl network

Hi,i recently installed 5 new computers on an ethernet lan. This lan consists of 9 computers with 7 running win xp home edition. The other two run win xp pro. They are connected to a switch which is connected to a D link router. All the computers can see each other and i can ping the default gateway 192.168.1.1 from any computer. The ISP network is fine. But cant get internet connection.Any advice.

Since none of them can access the Internet, I'd suspect a problem with the configuration of the router, the connection to the broadband modem, or the ISP.

How about the make/modem of the router, modem, and what ISP you use. Have you connected a computer directly to the modem and checked to see if you can connect? Have you power cycled EVERYTHING and tried again?

Thanks for coming back to me with a response.I actually tried all your suggestions.I tried to log onto the net with another account.I called the service provider several times to find out whether the cap has been reached on the account, where they told me no.Today was the first time that they actually told me that this is the case. Thanks for suggestions though.
