Roll Eyes DSL Westell 6100 help i think

Hi every1....

Like my nick says i try to fix something but something else gets broken so here i go.....

Evrething was working fine but my pc was running slow so i had the gr8 idea of turning off some pc services when i was in the midle of doing so aol said good bye!! and the icon turned grey with an X on it...sound went away...desktop view got mess up...well all kind of things went wrong....went back to services and turn all back on to automatic..just in case i didn't wanna miss anything ....everything went back to normal if you can call it normal....but no internet....all lights are green on the dsl modem...tried to reinstall dsl modem but when it comes to the part where it has to comunicate nothing happens..tells me to check for conexions all that stuff....when it gives a choice to check ehternet or usb... ethernet some times has an X on can't select it.
sooooo any ideas will be VERY helpful....thx all

Here are a couple of web sites that list the services and whether they should be automatic, manual, or disabled. Leave anything not on these lists as is.
