Hi there, I have a small problem with my internet connection.
I am on virgin dsl broadband using a speedtouch modem and windows ME. When i access the internet everything seems fine but then without warning and at random times.(anywhere between 2mins and above) The connection is lost. The lights on the modem are all out but the computer icon on the taskbar is still there obviousley with no action. I right click on the icon to "disconnect" an already disconnected connection and the icon then "hangs" staying on the taskbar (computer icon with the red cross through it). It then crashes the computer completely. Sometimes i can surf uninterupted. so its highly frustrating to then have it cut out completley. any ideas ? any one ? please ! Yep, you ned to contact Virgin and complain, because it's from the DSL modem out, not something with your system.
