Go into the router's Setup pages, by typing 192.168.2.1 into a web browser, and try toggling the router's Wireless Access Point "Off" and then "On" again. Also check that it is set to "broadcast" its SSID, then see if the laptop finds the wireless network.

but how can i connect to the setup page (192.168.2.1) if i cant connect to the router ??
(obviously i tried that)

but now its fixed, i managed to get belkin support and reset the router, they are really helpful, and the product is also great, no drop of connection at all ...

Glad you've got it sorted.

For future reference, this is done using a "wired" connection, not wirelessly, and it may be necessary temporarily to give the computer's "Local Area Connection" a fixed IP address in same range as the router's, such as 192.168.2.2 with Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
