DSL periodically disconnecting...

Well, I am using Win XP and Verizon DSL with a Westell 2200 modem. I've used Verizon for several years and haven't had any problems with it until a few months ago. I get disconnected after one hour of service and it stays down for forty minutes. Occasionally, it stays up for longer periods of time, but it usually follows the pattern said before and this happens all day long. I believe I posted once before about this problem, and unfortuantely it doesn't seem to be resolved yet.

When this problem started, I contacted tech support and tried multiple things. They sent a technician over to check out the situation on my end, but apparently they couldn't find anything wrong with it because the connection was up at the time. They've even sent me a replacement modem, but that didn't work either. I recently had my computer repaired and when I got it back, the connection worked fine for about two weeks. Now the problem has started again. I don't think I have anything that would cause interference, and I've tried plugging the modem into another phone jack, but the connection still remained down. I'm not sure if it's my computer, or the wiring? I'll gladly take any suggestions. Thanks.

If the modem loses the connection, this is a Verizon issue, and I doubt we'll be able to fix it here.
