I have purchased an ASUS Pundit P2-AE2 booksized barebone. I am interested in making this a "mobile" machine that can be installed in a vehicle or installed in the office (the person that uses this spends about 50% of their life traveling). Currently, a verizon wireless card (PCMCIA) is used in a laptop. Now, the problem and question is.... I would like to get this PCMCIA card to work or find another option for wireless access. I have found usb to PCMCIA convertors but these are very expensive. Are there any other options that would be cheaper and more feasible? There is no onboard wireless, but this can be overcome with some tape and a usb NIC. Any suggestions?

(Please don't ask "Why didn't you just get another laptop?" ... this is what the user wanted)
