Seriously Confused with Cell Phone
I have just recently purchased a Motorolla RAZR V3 cell phone, Motorola USB Cable for the Cell phone to my Laptop, and the Motorola Phone Tools software package. I have spent many many many hours on the phone with Motorola tech support trying to set up my RAZR to act like a modem to be able to dial the ISP of MY choice. My phone carrier is CINGULAR. Win XP and the Phone tools software recognizes the phone and installs it as a "Motorola USB Modem". However, this is where we are stuck, it will not let me dial out to my ISP of choice. When activating the dial up connection set up with this modem my phone shows that it is "dialing" the correct number but then almost immediately quits. The number is never fully connected. Sorry this is so long but I thought more was better in this case. Any help would be SO GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
