Connection problems with SBC DSL

Sometimes the internet will randomly disconnect. To fix it, I have to right-click on the internet connection status and click repair. This happens a lot, about ten times a day. I am using a laptop that is connected to the internet through a router. I know that I installed the router right. Does anyone have any ideas?

It is a wireless connection and I forgot to say that when the internet disconnects, it looks like it is still connected because it will say that the connection status is "very good" and it will say that it is connected but the internet is actually not working. I have a 108 Mbps Netgear Wireless Firewall Router WGT624 v3 if that helps.

Look for wireless interference, like cordless phones. Also, try to run the machine wired directly to the router and see if it's just the wireless, or it's a more general issue.
