Network/File Sharing Problem
I have two computers in my house connected by a Ethernet hub. I have Verizon DSL as my ISP. Both pc's are able to connect to the internet using the hub.
1st PC O/S: Win XP Professional 2nd PC O/S: Win ME I used the Windows Home Networking wizard to set up a home network on both pc's. They each have a unique computer name and the same group name. On the XP machine I can see the computer name in the explorer under entire network but do not have permission to access the Win Me machine. On the Win ME machine I cannot even see the XP machine name at all. Is Microsoft trying to be difficult on purpose or am I just missing something? Any help is appreciated Thanks Rem |

On each machine:
Open a DOS window and type: IPCONFIG /ALL >C:\RESULT.TXT Open C:\RESULT.TXT with Notepad and copy/paste the entire results here.
