hello,
i am having problems with forwarding my soulseek ports. some time ago i followed guides from www.portforward.com and managed to open my tcp port for soulseek. i set the static ip adrs, set zone alarm rules, set napt entrys in my speedtouch 510 gateway, and opened ports in my topcom br604 router. and it was all working like a charm. then i had some computer problems and had to install a fresh copy of windows, and reinstall all my software. after everything was installed, i did the same configurations as i did last time regarding soulseek port forwarding. but this time it just wont work. i have a another computer on the same adsl line, and i set up the static ip adrs on that as well. but obviously not the same ip adrs.. still closed soulseek ports. i really dont get it. something is blocking the ports. and everything is done as told in guides. i did even try diffrent settings in the advanced section of my network connection properties. like the internet protocol (tcp/ip) properties: what is the recommended settings in this aera? cause i tryed so many things in there, that i dont know what was the original setting. the dns, wins, and the other things in that properties? and is that the problem? please help me!! |
