Post AIM issues

I just built a new PC and installed XP SP2 and all the security enhancements,when I download and try to install AIM I get the error message "not a valid win32exe" any help would be great, then the 14 year old will be of my back, LOL

did you try temporarily lowering the security level and you might have to disable the firewall and antivirus to load the subway system of all viruses -- aim..[ the music download programs come in at a close second ]

Still AOl Im Issues

Yea I did that, but when I change the security level it defaults back to medium, is there a way around this?

Apparently I had to have Java installed first,now it works fine.
