FTP with Win XP Pro
I have win XP pro and a coworker of mine has a website that he wants to let me DL stuff from. Im supposed to set up my computer to be able to download from his machine. he set me up a username and password. and gave me the websitename.com but I dont really know what to do.

If it's an FTP just type into a browser window ftp://yourfriendsdomain.com and you can browse his files like you would browse your own.
There are also plenty of FTP programs out there. CuteFTP and WS_FTP are among the most well known. I sure hope you don't plan to pirate anything this way. ![]()
