Trying to connect a Windows computer to a Novell Server
I have a Novell 3.1.4 server that was used as a print server as well as a host for legacy programs, and I was trying to get my computer to connect to it. In the browse feature on Windows XP, it shows only windows networks but no Novell networks on my LAN. Is there something that I need to download to get it to see the network? Like a client or something? I need to get on this server in order to move some applications that are being hosted on there to my linux server so that it will be easier to get to.

Re: Trying to connect a Windows computer to a Novell Server
Ok, I think what I am going to do is just discontinue the server and just migrate everything to the linux server that I already have in service (Novell sucks, especially at 3.1.4). All the thing was used for was a file and print server, which even as a print server it was problematic at times. On a side note, I might need some advice on taking an old dot-matrix printer with no network card in it, connecting it to a windows box, enabling it as a print server (will probably be either Windows 2000 or XP), and having the printer turn itself into a network printer. Anyways, thanks for the assistance.
