Vista sees XP machine but cannot see shared files/printer
I have 3 machines on a home network: 2 XP and 1 Vista. I have a printer on the primary XP machine that is shared. Everything works fine between the two XP machines (sharing, printing) but not with the Vista machine. I can successfully ping back and forth between the VIsta and XP machines with both IP and computer name, and can access the shared files on the Vista machine from the XP machine but not vice versa. I'm guessing there is something on one of them that is blocking the Vista machine from accessing the shared files & printer on the XP machine. I've spent some time combing this forum and haven't been able to put my hands on a solution - can anybody help? Thanks!
