Email between 2 sites
We have two sites about 40 miles apart and have just had a new connection installed between the two. Is it feasible to have an email server on one site for the use of both sites? (i.e. one site passes over the megastream to collect mail) without using exchange etc?
We have currently a basic mail server but when i try to connect via a mail client to the remote server it instantly throws an eror message. Connectivity wise everything is in place, we can ping both ways, connect to machines etc. Any ideas? Thanks Chris |

Re: Email between 2 sites
I can't imagine it being a problem, it seems like would be okay. I don't really understand the issue if there is a secure connection between the two sites. Maybe you can elaborate a little as to where the problem would be ...
