I Need help .... FTP
Hey guys, I just joined up today because I'm well and truly stuck!!
I have set up an FTP server which can be accessed locally on my network, It is running inside Linux Ubuntu Desktop 9.4. Runs great locally everything is bang on!! However, I would like to access it externally! I have setup DYNDNS so I have an account and a hostname for my PC from them. My Router doesn't have DYNDNS option in the config (eTEc PTI 845G). I do have port forwarding setup and seems to work but the problem is, My router config login page is as far as I can get in terms of accessing my PC externally. This isn't good!!!! lol I have a wireless router plugged into my main router, my wireless router has dyndns on it but its not connected to the internet just my router which goes out to the internet. It's all a baffle, any ideas ? |
