First of all this might be the wrong board to post this in, but there didn't seem to be any that fit this topic, so if it belongs somewhere else then go ahead and move it.
I'm having a problem with PayPal, where I'm trying to add an email address and make it primary, because the one I was using before has been lost to a very unpleasant hijacking, and like a buffoon I forgot the answer to my security question. ![]() The problem is that when I add the new email address, it sends me an email that has a confirmation code in it, consisting of 20 digits. Okay, I copy said code, log out and then log back into PayPal, paste the code into the box that comes up, click done, and it takes me to my account page. I go into the section where I can add and remove email addresses and whatnot, and it still says that the email is unconfirmed. I have tried with three different addresses, two from Yahoo, and one from MSN. I have also tried different browsers, different methods of entering the code (like actually typing it out), and slamming my face into my desk, all to no avail. I am using a student account, if it matters (which it shouldn't, since it clearly says I can change my email addresses and whatnot). Sorry for the wall of text, I try to put as much detail into things as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated! Last edited by Icecat16; 08-10-2009 at 07:44 AM. |
