Connect Laptop (Vista) and Desktop (XP)

Ok. I have a router that works fine (yes i fixed it jason_09) and i have internet connections on both my 2005 xp sp3 desktop (dell) and my 2009 vista premium laptop (acer). I want to have both computers "see" each other, and i can't get either one to see either one. I really need help, b/c i have no idea where to start. If anyone knows a site i can follow, that would be awesome too!!!!

Thanks so much, again TSF.

Not that I know of without doing some type of connection.
Did you read through all the guides from those websites? They explain how to get 2 computers connected together.

I don't think that it could be explained any better, those are step by step guides. What part are you not understanding?

Re: Connect Laptop (Vista) and Desktop (XP)

Transferring files between computers is the same procedure as you would use to transfer files between two drives.
