Need help with remote access
I am trying to fix a computer that is overseas with my husband. One of the issues it is having after getting a mobile ISP provider, is the PC Pandora stopped working. The PC Pandora is opened by holding down four keys at one time prompting a password box. I know how to fix it the PC Pandora, that is not the problem.
The problem is, I can't open the program using TeamViewer. It does not respond to keyboard commands like that. It will respond to a keyboard command but not many keys being held down at once. Has anyone ever used a remote access program that would work with this type of command? Thanks. |

Re: Need help with remote access
I contacted PC Pandora and they claim it is not possible. I don't believe that. Has anyone ever done this? I would appreciate any help. Someone suggested a macro. I never did that before. Anybody know anything about them.
Thanks. |

Is there no other way to open the program? Try Logmein it might work.

Re: Need help with remote access
Thanks for your response. Actually I did manage to get it going. I found the executable file. PC Pandora does a really good job at hiding the program. I just double clicked on the executable file after hours of trying to figure out where it was. They name their files strange as to not reveal what program is running.
My brother discovered that AutoHotKey would have found the file for me after I already found it. If to launch the program you hold down three or four keys, it had to also create a macro to its executable. Windows stores its keyboard shortcut assignments in the registry. Use the autohotkey program, right click on the icon by the clock, open window spy. A box will appear, leave the box open and then hold down the three or four keys. Window spy will show you the path to the executable. I hope this helps someone else. |
